In my youth I dreamed of riding jumping horses whether cross country over fields full of natural obstacles or in a show ring with colorful "designer" fences. The feeling of flight is really exemplified as you soar over a jump of any kind. It seems like the horses enjoy it too giving them an outlet for their exuberance and energy.
